The focus of these workshops is to train high schoolers on essential life skills such as self-awareness, character development, effective communication, reproductive health, career and academic guidance, talent actualization, community service and so much more.

The workshop facilitators included KEF staff & alumni, a licensed social worker to help kids with trauma, as well as university mentors from Africa Nazarene University.
In the evenings the learners would unwind with outdoor activities aimed at developing problem solving & networking skills and encouraging teamwork.

The scholars lauded the workshops as being informative and of great value because they do not learn most of these skills in the regular school curriculum.

One of the scholars, Charity, wrote a really touching thank you note to all the workshop facilitators.
