The KEF bridge scholarships designed to help high-achieving KEF graduates transition to local universities as they apply to get student loans.
In July, thirty of our best 2017 scholars were awarded with a Bridge Scholarship at an orientation ceremony where previous bridge scholars were invited to share their experiences and offer guidance and advice.
Even without a KEF bridge scholarship to university,82% of KEF alumni transition to higher education on their own or get a job within two-years of graduating high school. By simply helping Kenyan students complete high school, KEF opens a world of opportunities for them. For example, in June,Philitricia (left) graduated Middlebury College in Vermont, which gave her a full scholarship. Congratulations Phily!
