One of things that sets KEF apart from other scholarship organizations is our appreciation for the teachers responsible for nurturing students. We understand that educators in KEF Partnership Schools must be equipped to teach current and relevant topics that students can apply towards solving the challenges of their rapidly changing worlds. In addition, they need to be motivators and mentors who provide social and emotional support.
KEF's Teacher's Workshops are designed to provide resources and strengthen the capacity of the teacher AND the school for the benefit of ALL students.

This year's KEF Teacher's Workshop, attended by 57 teachers from our partner schools across the country, focused on equipping teachers with knowledge on emotional intelligence, coaching, psycho-social issues and personal financial management.

KEF's intervention with these educators helps us promote KEF values like Giving Back, Self-Reliance and Gender Equity inside our Partnership Schools across Kenya.

Rave reviews from the teachers:

“I am grateful for the opportunity to learn. The sessions were very interesting and eye-opening.”

“Well presented, well researched, interactive and empowering. That’s how I would describe the conference.”

“I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop. It was the best we have had so far. Well done.”
