KEF 2019 Annual Dinner
Currently, we are supporting about 700 scholars in 150 schools across Kenya, at Kshs 75,000 each per year. Over the years, we have provided over 2,500 scholarships to needy and deserving Kenyan boys and girls. This has been made possible by the generous donations of likeminded individuals and a few corporates.
To keep our scholars in school, we are organizing a fundraising dinner which will take place on February 22nd, 2019 at Statehouse Girls’ School, Nairobi. Our theme this year is ‘Self Reliance Through Education’ and we aim to raise Kshs 5 million.
We cannot meet our goal without the help of individuals like you. Therefore, we are inviting you to come and help us fund-raise.

“For every two of us who finished high school, three did not. If we are to eradicate poverty, these numbers are not sustainable. We need as many Kenyans as possible to come together and see that poverty is eradicated through education. By educating one child, another five people are impacted,” said Dominic Muasya, KEF Country Director, in his opening speech at KEF's 1st Annual Gala on Feb 22, 2019 at State House Girls High School, Nairobi.

And what a night it turned out to be! The event's program was filled with touching tributes to KEF from alumni like Brian and Hildah who presented original poems about how KEF transformed their lives. Benta and Heskey brought the audience to tears with speeches chronicling how KEF guided them through adolescence and into adulthood. But it didn't stop there. Members from the class of 2018 composed and arranged beautiful harmonies that entertained our guests while they ate.
