Sponsor a KEF Scholar

This giving option is designed specifically for the careful donor who is keen on monitoring the direct effect that their contribution has on an individual student’s life.  Through letters written to you by the student whom you sponsor, as well as photos and student information that the KEF sends you, you can track the transformation of your student over 4 years of high school.

A Direct Sponsorship is only US $600** per year until your student graduates high school ($2400 for four years of boarding school).  This money benefits the student directly and covers the cost of their school tuition, room and board, uniforms, shoes, books, learning materials, tutoring, exam fees, school trips and mosquito nets.

**Please Note: With Direct Sponsorships you are matched with a student who relies on your annual donation to finish high school.  High school takes four years to complete, so you will be asked to give this amount each year until your student graduates. Please be aware that your annual donations are spent directly on your student.  Failure to pay annual dues may result in your student’s removal from school.

 

HOW TO PAY FOR YOUR SPONSORSHIP

  • Online Giving: You may sign up online to sponsor a Kenyan student.   The KEF accepts all major credit cards, as well as international currencies via PayPal by clicking the Network for Good button above.  You will also be given the option to set recurring charges, as well as indicate how you would like to designate your gift. Service charges may apply.

Here is a helpful key if you wish to use Network For Good’s recurring donations option to pay for a sponsorship in installments:

  • Monthly – $50
  • Quarterly – $150
  • Bi-annually – $300
  • Annually – $600
  • Entire 4-year sponsorship – $2400
