Sponsoring a KEF Scholar – goal of $2,400

- Full tuition at a quality boarding school for 4 years
- Room and board, including: 3 square meals a day, school uniforms, school shoes, sanitary pads for girls, a mosquito net for their bed to prevent malaria, textbooks, a scientific calculator, school supplies, exam fees and coverage for school trips.
PLEASE NOTE: The funds raised via KEF social fundraising pages are STRICTLY for the benefit of KEF Scholars, enrolled in our programs. Any student wishing to receive financial support from the KEF MUST fill out an application and be accepted. For additional details, click HERE. Sponsoring a Mentoring Workshop – goal of $5,000

Providing psychosocial support is key to building confidence and providing the “know-how” necessary to succeed after high school. KEF scholars from various schools and tribes gather to inspire one another and the Workshops are led by Kenyan entrepreneurs, leaders, social workers and KEF alumni. Topics include: HIV/AIDS awareness, safe-sex practices, avoiding peer pressures, developing strong study habits and building an entrepreneurial sense. Your fundraising goal of $5,000 will enable 50 KEF scholars to attend the Workshop for FREE and provide transport, room & board, meals and supplies for the 3-day workshop!
Sponsoring a Computer Lab – goal of $10,000

The many schools we work with in Kenya often lack the resource to provide adequate computer labs to their students; this means hundreds of students will have to share 2-3 available computers. Raising $10,000 enables the KEF to provide locally purchased computers: in turn, the schools “buy in” to the success and good governance of the project by reciprocating with free enrollments for extremely disadvantaged students that our organization chooses. For example, two computers may be exchanged for free tuition at a boarding school for one student for one year. In addition, the Computer Lab will bear your (or your fundraising team’s) name!
